This tour is about connecting to the traditional culture and ancient wisdom of Bali.
Our morning starts with an invigorating one-hour trek to the peak of Mount Batur. Once ascended, we will take some time to sit and watch the sunrise light up spectacular views of Bali, and across the sea to Lombok. We may see the magical mist hovering over the fertile fields and lake of the Batur valley. Together, we will spend time in meditation and experience the power of silence whilst being immersed in the crisp, clean mountain air, leaving us refreshed and ready to eat our lovingly prepared breakfast.
As we descend down, we will be shown a variety of medicinal herbs and plants in their natural growing habitat, and the wisdom each one holds will be explained. Once we reach Batur Lake a local fisherman will take us by boat to the Lake Temple.
Upon arrival at the temple we will be able to make an offering of heartfelt prayers wishes and intentions while receiving blessings from the Priest. After this we will have a leisurely drive back to Ubud, enjoying the views of natural Bali and opportunities to buy fresh fruit from our local farmers!

Making Balinese Canang Sari Experience
We welcome our guests at our house and then introduce ourselves, going to our yards back garden harvest some flowers, coconut leaves, bananas leaves for our class preparation.
The guest will learn about how to make balinese canang sari and the meaning of the offerings. The guest will be dressed in Balinese outfits and learn the meaning of the outfits.
The Canang Sari are given to the Gods every day by the Hindu Balinese as a form of thanking for balance and peace in our world that is renewed each day.
The small offerings result of a very long hand-made process: women make the basket, assembly the donations in a meaningful placement and dip a jepun flower in holy water to sprinkle the canang in a symbolic fusion of the four elements.
The ritual ends with a little prayer spoken as smoke from burning incense carries the essence of the offering to the Gods.
Also guest will learn about the Balinese culture, Balinese lifestyle and community. Share good memories like a Balinese local people.
Duration: 90 minutes. $15 for single guest, or $60 for groups of 2 to 5 people. Including : Tea or coffee;
